Connie Conway

Connie Conway is an experienced business consultant and battle-tested political leader most known for her results-driven and bipartisan legislative record. She represented the largest agriculture county in the United States on the Tulare County Board of Supervisors from 2000 to 2008, while simultaneously taking leadership roles on the Local Agency Formation Commission and as President for the California State Association of Counties and Membership Chair of the National Association of Counties.

 

From 2009 through 2014, she served in the California State Assembly, including three years as a caucus leader overseeing a legislative team of 75 individuals, setting policy goals, and leading key budget negotiations. After her tenure in Sacramento, Conway demonstrated her results-driven leadership in the business industry as the principal consultant at the Conway Consulting Group since 2014.

 

In 2019, Conway received a presidential appointment to become the California Executive Director for the United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency and held that post until 2021. From 2022 through 2023, she successfully won a special election and served as a United States Congresswoman, representing California’s 22nd District.
