Clark Bird graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1992 with a major in economics, graduated from California State University, Stanislaus in 1996 with a major in accounting, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1999. His 15-plus career in public accounting involved a broad range of industries including real estate, mortgage, manufacturing, insurance, agriculture, dealerships, professional practices, retail, restaurants, and engineering. Clark is currently the chief executive officer and a minority shareholder of N&S Tractor, Inc., a retail agriculture equipment dealer that specializes in equipment, service, and parts. He was primarily responsible for the acquisition of eleven additional locations throughout the states of California and Oregon. In addition to N&S Tractor, Clark was also the chief financial officer and minority shareholder in Fineline Industries, Inc. until its sale in 2015 where he led responsibilities for negotiations and transition of the company. He has various ownership interests in real estate-related companies and multiple retail agricultural equipment stores. His extensive stake included residential rental real estate, commercial real estate, multi-family properties, property management, mortgage service providing, and retail agricultural equipment dealership with eight locations in California and five locations in Oregon.

Clark is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
